Meet Saucebot, your hefty new daily-use brass keycap. A pocketable fidget toy, and a collectible desk buddy for anyone who appreciates tiny metal mascots.

Machined in-house from raw brass bar stock, each piece is CNC'ed and individually vapor-blasted before being hand-aged, patinaed, and polished to achieve a deep, burnished finish. They're machined to be identical and finished by hand to be unique.

Saucebot is designed in the familiar Cherry MX R4 profile, standing 0.423 in (10.76 mm) tall. Its stem is precision-machined for a secure, satisfying fit that keeps the keycap in place as you fidget, but is not so tight that it risks damaging your switch or stem.

SauceBot does not ship immediately. All orders placed during our in-stock window will ship on December 18th, ensuring Christmas delivery for U.S. customers using USPS Priority Mail.

We have a limited number of units available for holiday delivery. Once this batch sells out, the product will automatically switch to pre-order with a February ship date. When this happens, the “Add to Cart” button will change to “Pre-Order,” and a banner will appear at the top of the page noting the updated delivery timeline.

The Saucebot bundle includes a clicky Cherry MX Blue switch that's been modified with a 150g spring lightly lubed with Krytox 105. These springs are chosen to counterbalance the heavy brass keycap, giving the switch a firm, clean press and a steady return. And…because Will just really liked it stiffer!

The set comes complete with the tuned switch and a matching aged brass keychain base, machined and finished to the same standard as the main keycap. The keychain also has a dedicated slot for a switch puller, making it simple to remove the included blue switch and drop in any switch you like. If you do replace the switch, we recommend using a minimum spring weight of 80g so your switch returns normally.

Saucebot is hand-finished, giving each piece its own character. By nature, Saucebots will vary slightly from unit to unit, and may include minor cosmetic imperfections like:

• fine scratches
• minor indentations
• subtle blemishes or surface inconsistencies
   

Saucebot is made entirely in-house, and we strive to deliver only the best products. Any units with blemishes over 1 mm are removed by our quality control team, ensuring only pieces meeting our tight standards make it to your door.
